Natural Gas

The adaption of natural gas conversions to existing gasoline engine cars, while minimal in cost (less than $1000) has be limited to a scattered set of countries, ranging from Slovakia in Central Europe to Germany in Western Europe. While the vehicle retrofit cost is minimal compared to other technologies and fuel cost savings are almost 50%, it requires an extensive fueling infrastructure, the implementation of which has also hampered the addaption of other environmentaly friendlier technologies.
